Double Derby

The only thing more exciting than one Derby in a week is when there are two Derbies in the same week. And that is happening this week. In addition to our mens’ Derby on Saturday, Milan Ladies are playing their Derby tonight against Inter Femminile. Whereas the mens teams drew back in November, Milan Ladies have a loss to avenge from their home derby, also in November.

There's only one side to be on, but there are two red and black teams to support

Milan Ladies have the misfortune to be facing the lesser Baresi’s daughter (Franco Baresi’s niece) once again, who is captain of Inter Femminile. But that won’t stop them from fighting for the win like people do only in a derby. Additionally, they’ll play a rare night time game, with kickoff at 9pm local time. They are coming off of a win and two draws, so will be especially hungry for the victory.

The last Derby didn't end well for our Ladies, let's support them tonight for the win!

This derby won’t be shown on TV, but the Milan Ladies were on TV over the past weekend, with a second visit to the Calcio Champagne show. For the mens’ Derby, we have to wait until Saturday to see how it plays out.
