In a 90 minute period of football lawlessness, Milan Primavera destroyed Monza Primavera 5-0 on Saturday. Five unanswered goals, like a gang of 11 players creating anarchy on the pitch in Monza. And while technically, there were a couple of rules that were enforced, this win was so epic, I like to think of Renna's boys as the Purgers.

After some early chances from Anastasio and Domniței, things clicked into place in the 24th minute when Anastasio slotted home his shot after a cross from Tartaglia. 1-0 Milan Primavera. Only four minutes later, Zaramella was in the right place to take advantage of the rebound from Domniței's shot. Now it was 2-0 Milan. Nolli also hit the post in the 38th minute, truly Renna's boys were on the loose.

Milan continued to create chances, and to that end, Renna subbed Grassini and Dotta on for Angelicchio and Domniței in the 57th minute. Just a few minutes later, Cullotta's header was saved by Monza's goalkeeper. But two minutes after that, substitute Grassini scored the third goal. 3-0 Milan Primavera. Five minutes later, the other substitute, Dotta, had the assist for Zaramella's second of the night. 4-0 Milan Primavera.

Vincent Ibrahimović replaced Geroli right after the goal. In the 79th, Calvani replaced Tartaglia and Leonardo Colombo reaplaced Maiga-Hamadoun Cissè. The new sub, Leonardo Colombo, earned a yellow card after having only been on the pitch for three minutes. But things were relatively quiet until the 90th minute, when, from a corner, Messaoudi headed home the fifth goal of the night. 5-0 Milan Primavera. Complete attacking anarchy. Brief highlights of Monza's massacre are available.

With having had such a troubling and poor run of form, winning their Coppa Italia match midweek, then winning this Halloween match had to be good for mentality. Complete blowouts like this are not that common, and hopefully, they had fun making it all happen. They still sit in 11th in the championship, and will face AlbinoLeffe next Sunday. But hopefully, for one day, they imagined themselves as the Purgers.
