Milan Primavera 2, Juve Primavera 0: Crushing It

The Milan Primavera team destroyed Juve's Primavera on Sunday, with a 2-0 win at home. Renna's boys scored two first half goals and never looked back, pushing them into top four in the Campionato Primavera 1. Despite their somewhat disappointing draw away to Cesena the week before, winning two of three of their first matches means they are crushing it.

Crushing it.

Milan looked dangerous early on, with a couple of great chances created by Domniței, and then a chance from Nolli. But it was in the 34th minute that Nolli sent a ball across, and Tartaglia stretched to reach it, beating the Juventus Primavera goalkeeper and putting into the back of the net. 1-0 Milan Primavera.

Just five minutes later, from Nolli's free kick, captain Cullotta scored a lethal header, which was actually his first ever goal for the Primavera, too. 2-0 Milan Primavera. In the second half, Renna's Milan had fewer chances, and were called to defend a mounting attack from Juve's Primavera.

Renna sent Leonardo Colombo in for Zaramella in the 61st minute, then replaced Domniței with Petrone in the 78th, and apparently wanting to keep his job, gave Vincent Ibrahimović his debut in the 88th minute, coming on for Geroli. Milan Primavera were able to withstand an onslaught of attempts from Juve in the last 10-15 minutes to keep their clean sheet and hang on to all three points. Brief highlights of the match are available.

And don't forget the double-assist man, Nolli, who also nearly scored himself.

Milan Primavera are technically tied for second place in the Primavera 1 league, but on goal differential, sit in fourth behind Parma, Inter, and Roma respectively. So still crushing it. They will travel to Verona on Saturday.
