Derby della Madonnina Preview: Champions League Edition
The other Inzaghi's Inter come into this match as slight favorites, with their current form of L-W-W-W-W. They also won the most recent Derby della Madonnina in February, as well as the Supercoppa Derby in Riyadh in January. Their most recent win was a 2-0 away win over Roma on Saturday. For that match, the other Inzaghi lined up: Onana; Darmian, supposed Milanista and former Milan player Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozović, the Turkish Traitor™, Dimarco; Lukaku, and Correa. He will still be missing Skriniar, who is out for the season.
Milan's form has not been as strong, with a D-W-D-D-W in Serie A. The most recent win was a 2-0 home win against the other team from Rome, Lazio, also on Saturday. Pioli has doubts about Florenzi and more importantly Leão, who he said would not be on the bench at all if he was not fit to start. Certainly, he is a huge miss, but Milan also have Milan DNA, with seven Champions League trophies to Inter's three.

The city of Milano is tense with emotion ahead of this huge match, with so much on the line. One team will go to the Champions League final, the other will not. The past, present, and future of Milan and Inter will meet once again at the San Siro in a battle of epic proportions. This first leg will set the tone for the tie, with the result to be determined in the second leg next Tuesday. Ready or not, it is the Derby della Madonnina... Champions League Edition.
